Happy Friday everyone!
It is finally the weekend and I could not be any happier about it.
I was a little iffy about today’s giveaway, because I don’t want to promote anything that I would not use myself. After much researching and reading the companies website, I realized how great of a company SlimKicker is.
The company provides a ton of community motivation, fitness and health challenges, and calorie tracking.
The company wants you to live your best healthy life.
Health is so important, and I love that SlimKicker is trying to expand this knowledge to others by providing fun ways to stay healthy.

During the day I like to view recipes I’ve bookmarked, write them down, and determine which one’s I’ll be creating for the week coming up.
As I’m scrolling through recipes I notice a lot of the time recipes are marked by ounces and grams, as a food scale devotee I love that there is this option.
Having a food scale is the best for baking, because it gives precise measurements.
It is also the perfect weight loss tool, because it is more accurate than measuring cups, it will give you an idea on how many calories you are consuming; if you count them, and determine portion sizes for you.
Here is your chance to win a digital kitchen scale, provided by the SlimKicker team.
If you’d like to enter this giveaway:

I think a cool challenge would try to be vegan for a week!

I use my food scale whenever a recipe calls for some crazy measurement like ounces. Uhhh what? lol
Cool! I think a neat challenge would be to go a whole day just drinking food-packed smoothies!
Hi Lisa….Your comment….” It is also the perfect weight loss tool,” Hummm still
think you are trying to lose weight????? I think you should think more about gaining and eating real food for a change, and not
focusing in weight loss recipes that have little fat and calories in them..just my
thought….
I appreciate your slice of sanity. It’s good to have someone challenge ED. It is such a trickster!
I like the idea of cutting back on sugar for a challenge. I find that too much sugar, even from natural sources, throws my body off a bit.
I follow you on twitter now.
and I tweeted!
I think a great challenge would would be eating more than 6 servings of veggies for a whole week:)
30 minutes+ of physical activity every day for 30 days! Then it becomes a habit!

I have been drinking apple cider vinegar (2 tbsps) diluted in water and with Stevia as a sweetener. Tastes like apple juice and i’ve already noticed the following benefits: much flatter stomach (because it makes me 100% regular!!!!), skin looks better and very smooth, and i have been sleeping better. Just for these benefits, I’m addicted to drinking it twice a day for life. Love your blog Lisa, and I do have a lot of your same challenges (sadly
some days are definitely very tough still now), and I love coconut flour too! I discovered it 2 weeks ago, and i have it every single day, total addiction.
Love,
T
I think reducing meat consumption as well as dairy 4 or 5 days a week would be a healthy challenge!
i’ve recently been trying to do 15 minutes of stretching each day.
drinking 8 glasses of water a day!
hmm a creative challenge that I did recently was giving up Stevia. I completely stopped using it for 3 weeks. I’ve started to use just a small amount again, but much less than I used before. Now I have 1 or 2 servings a week instead of 3 or 4 servings every single day.
A good challenge for me would be cutting out artificial sweeteners!! Another good one is having 5 servings of veggies each day – great giveaway!
Adding meatless days to the week. Focusing on more greens!
How about eating breakfast for dinner for a week. That tends to be the most well balance meal of the day usually and it’s usually most people’s favorite:)
oOoOoOOO lets seeeeeee, for a challenge, I would probably attempt to add veggies to ALL my meals. I know spinach in pancakes has been done before, but it would be a challenge to actually get myself to stray from my normal sweet cakes
