Mother’s Day

This post is dedicated to my Mom,

(Sorry Sam)

I can never repay you for everything you have given me thus far in life. The support, encouragement, enthusiasm, and love that you have provided for me, even during the most horrific and awful moments throughout the years.

I can never thank you enough for all the small things too, like taking me to the doctor’s when I felt sick, or cutting my pancakes for me until I was a teenager. Taking me to swim meets all over the place. Always helping me get through any situation. You even kept my secret that I played barbies until I was fourteen. (Yep, I’m a dork).

Feeling incredibly grateful can’t even begin to describe how I feel for everything you have sacrificed, just to make my life more fulfilling. You were there for me during ugly times, when I am sick, scared, and  feeling the worst. You provide me with the best love you can give, and are always helping me when I face problems and dilemas that seem like the end of the world.

You are so kindhearted, compassionate, honest, and giving. I can only hope that one day I will be the mother that you are to me.

You are my best friend, I can confide in you whenever and whatever, with no judgement. Just love and great advice.

All my friends always say how lucky I am to have you in my life. And I believe I am the luckiest girl in the world to say that you’re my mom. You attended all of my events, no matter how lame they were, always cheering me on. Even now that I am grown up, you are always here when I need you.

I feel so blessed and honoured for everything you have done for me and am incredibly grateful you continue to support me in everything I do.

Love you mom.

P.S. Happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely mom’s out there. You are all rockstars and deserve this special day to treat yourself the best way possible!

xox,
Lisa
