Good morning lovelies!
Can you believe it is finally Friday! The weekend has finally come and I am quite excited about its return!
I started my day off yesterday a little more unusual to how I usually start things, I’ll get to that in a later post though. After, I got my productivity pants on and got things crossed off my to do list.
I finished my laundry, bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, and all that annoying junk. At least I’m done with that and I have the weekend off of those chores.
I woke up, got ready, drove my self on over to starbucks, you know the usual.
With that being said, let’s get this post started.
1. I made chia pudding yesterday for the first time ever! So good. Try out this amazing combo.
This superb looking bowl
had 2 tablespoons chia seeds, 2 tablespoons protein powder, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup pumpkin. I let it sit overnight, and enjoyed it as an afternoon snack.
2. I made the gorgeous Meg’s delicious Tofu Mousse on Wednesday! This was delicious, I’m not usually a fan of tofu, but I loved eating it this way.
I used this recipe of hers, but added in an extra tablespoon of coconut flour, because I have a problem and am addicted to it.
3. I’ve made it through my 7 days of no working out. To say it was tough, is an understatement. And I actually am a liar, because on my 7th day I went to spin class. I hate to admit that I let my disorder win on that note, but I am not going to workout today to make up for it. I just love spin, I swear. I also can’t wait for tomorrow because I really want to try out Lindsay’s Tabata Workout.
4. I just bought this dress.
I love how obnoxiously bright it is. And can’t wait to wear it this weekend. I also got excited because I saw Tamara Barney from the Real Housewives of Orange County wearing it on Dr. Oz’s show. Yeah, I’m that girl.
5. I’ve been loving blending green “juice” in my vita-mix.
My favourite combo of the week has been a blend of cucumber, spinach, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, stevia, and ice. Yummm.
Well I’m off to do something productive with my life!! Have a happy weekend!
What are your plans for the upcoming weekend?
xox,
Lisa
P.S. Go watch this is you like The Bachelor. It’s hilarious!

I am so going to make that chia seed pudding. I just bought it for the first time at my local health food store.
This weekend we are going to a wedding – yay! I love people in love!
Hope you like it! Have a great time at the wedding! I love people in love as well!
Such a happy time in life
That dress is beyond cute– I’m literally speechless at how awesome it is! I bet that color looks rockin on ya girl!
And that juice looks delish!
Hope your weekend is fabulous!
Thank yaaa! Hope you had a fab weekend!
I MUST try that mousse! I saw it on Meg’s blog too and it looks so good!
It’s definitely good! And I’m not usually a fan of tofu, so that’s saying a lot
I already LOVE tofu mousse( adding banana is awesome)- but iv been on the fence about trying chia pudding for a while now. Given that I adore the rest of your food, you might just have convinced me to give it a shot.+ my huge bag of chias has been sitting pracically unused.
You will look *2cute* in that dress, totally your colour I think. Pshtt, Tamara will have nuthin on you in it:)!
Xxx
Good idea to add a banana! Next time I’m totally doing that. I was on the fence as well about the chia pudding! I didn’t think I’d like it texture wise, but its good if you have something like applesauce, banana, or pumpkin to go in it so its not really gel like, if that makes sense haha.
That tofu mousse looks decadent!! And I’m definitely going to have to try the chia pudding – I think tomorrow morning is the perfect time! Love the dress too, happy weekend!!
It was really tasty! Hope you had an awesome weekend!
I need to try that tofu mousse. Seriously looks great. Nice job on the seven days even if the last day your disorder won out. Remember a couple steps back to get that large leap forward. So proud of you.
Thanks so much
Very true! I’m still proud of myself for making it that far!
that pink dress is adorableeeee! Where did you get it?
It’s from bebe!
That dress will look awesome on you, it screams summer – i love it!
Thanks! I love it too. The colour is the best. I’m loving everything bright
I LOVE the dress – the colour is fantastic and it’s so cute!
Well done on your no working out for a week challenge. If you went to spinning because you love it, I think that’s probably fair enough. I have only been to two spinning classes so far but I really liked it and I’ll be going again next week. Have a lovely weekend!
That’s true! I guess its a good thing I figured out that I truly do love to attend spin class. It is such a good workout! I tried so hard to love running, but its just not my thing haha. Hope your weekend was great!
Chia pudding is always something I have wanted to try and am going to give it a go now, with your recipe! Thanks for posting it Lisa
And good for you for making it most of the way through the non-working out business… I know it was tough, I have been there ha, and boy did it SUCK. But you proved that you could do it and you didn’t gain 30 pounds… WIN!
No prob Tessa! I was so weary of trying to, but I think its good with pumpkin or yogurt so it doesn’t seem to tapioca like! Yep, it sure did suck!! I thought I would go mental from the week off haha. Exactly, how surprising that I didn’t gain a ton of weight
I actually didn’t even gain anything.
I’ve never had chia pudding, fresh veggie juice, or tofu mousse. Am I missing out or what?
You most certainly are!
That dress is gorgeous, and the chia pudding looks delicious too! Do you have any thoughts of what you can substitute for the protein powder?
You could probably substitute coconut flour, peanut flour, or something like that. Do you have any of those ingredients?
Yes! I have coconut flour, almond flour, and PB2. I’ll have to experiment.
hey gorgeous girl!!
I just read in your reply to my comment that you gave up coffee for a little while?! …why??! I could never dream of no java!
loveeee the green drink, and spin class!!
I hope you’ve been having a great weekend!
xoxo!
Haha. I have no idea why I tried that! Actually, when I was trying to gain weight my doctor thought I had a sensitivity to it that may speed up my metabolism from it, because it used to make me really shaky and anxious when I drank it, so I attempted but it didn’t work out to well haha. It was an awful idea. Spin is my favourite thing everrr! Hope you had an awesome weekend girl!!xo
I haven’t made chia pudding in ages! Yours looks so good! And that dress is really cute too.
Congrats on making it through 6 days without working out! That’s shows a lot of strength hun. <3
Thank you Chelsea! I’m pretty impressed I made it through that many days without losing my mind haha.
oh my goodness! YAY you tried the mousse! Love you babe
Loved it! It’s the only way I enjoy tofu too, so I was pretty impressed! Thanks for the recipe.
Love love love the dress!! You will look gorgeous in it!
Thank you Chelsa!
I love that dress! and I love the housewives, seriously guilty pleasure.
Oh man. I can’t get enough of the Housewives. They are for sure a guilty pleasure of mine!
That dress is gorgeous and that color will be great on you!
