Good morning there!
Nothing too exciting happening over here, Tuesday’s are Tuesday’s after all.
Today I had to start my day off on a good note food wise, because I decided to sleep in a little bit and workout after breakfast instead.
I made a smoothie breakfast, diva style. It was delicious. I forgot how much I miss smoothies for breakfast, but with actual substance so that they are more filling throughout the morning.
Banana Coconut Smoothie
1/2 cup oats, 1 cup almond milk, frozen banana, stevia, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1.5 tablespoon coconut flour, and a little xanthan and guar gum to thicken more. Topped with strawberries and almond butter.
After working on out, I got myself some coffee to kick start the morning, so bounced on over to starbucks to get some caffeine in me before running errands and getting blood work done. Fun.
I came home and saw my cats new resting spot. What a cutie pie she is.
Silly cat, cars are for people.
On that note, my sister should really fix those scratches on her car.
Later, I decided it was time for my nails to receive a makeover. Essie for the win.

My mind is stressed out right now. You know, those busy facts that take over.
My brain is feeling quite fried at the moment, I’ve been thinking about lots of different things, that need discussion with family before I talk about them on the ol’ blog. Just questioning things happening in life and trying to adjust to things.

But, no matter what I’m going to keep things positive. I’ve got to look at the positives every situation brings to me. Although I struggle sometimes, everyday brings some sort of happiness into my heart.
Dinner was simple. Just heated up a leftover turkey burger, threw in some marinara and zucchini.
And then topped it off with previously cooked spaghetti squash and a little more zucchini.
Well rounded meal. Lazy can still be healthy and delicious.
Off to check out the hometown dates on the Bachelorette tonight.

i would say i’m mostly optimistic, but i do worry a lot so i find myself thinking of the “what if” scenarios a little too often. i usually catch myself though and try to shift my attitude right away before it gets out of control. it certainly is all about the attitude though!
Agree its all about how you view things and the attitude you apply to the situation!

Stay positive girl!!! I love your attitude! I am always trying to be more positive but I have to admit I tend to be more positive for other people than for myself if that makes any sense
That smoothie looks awesome! I would never think to put coconut flour in a smoothie but I bet it does give it great flavor and a different texture! I’m going to have to try it! I love coconut flour!

I used to tend to overthink things sometimes, but within the past year, I’ve realized that worry is often a useless emotion. I’m usually optimistic, and if I’m struggling, I look at it as a challenge, not something necessarily bad. It’s testing me and shaping me.
Worrying definitely is useless. You get nothing from thinking that way. I like that you view it as a challenge instead!!

There are some days where I just feel so BLAH. But honestly, what cheers me up the most is giving other people smiles and chatting them up. Happiness breeds happiness
Its so true! Interacting with happy people makes me instantly happier! Or if I find my mood bad, I will buy someones coffee at starbucks and it just makes me feel instantly better doing something nice for someone else!

I’ve been feeling pessimistic about moving! Which is crazy because it’s to our new house!! Lol. I’m just tired of moving so much the past few years so trying to work up the energy again!! Haha. So I’m trying to find the positive. QT packing with Kevin. And moving is a workout and a half!!!
Haha, I hope your move goes super smoothly!! Oh gosh, moving is totally a workout. When I moved this year my arms were sore for days after, just from lifting all those couches and boxes!
First and foremost, SMILE! I know @ times things in life can be stressful, and can get carried away. But, just always keep in mind that THINGS WILL GET BETTER and work out exactly how they are suppose to in the end!! Have an awesome 4th of July girl!

That blue is like electric. I love it. I always paint my nails not typical colors like emerald green, blue, or sometimes a coppery brown – my grandma hates when I do it, so I sort of get a kick out of it. My brain is totally fried too by so many things in life right now, but you just gotta stay positive in life and it will get you to the other side. I always tell myself things could be worse!
Haha, that’s funny. I always am painting my nails crazy colours. I’m so done with the typical reds and pinks now.

It definitely does! I’ve realized I need to just let go of those thoughts, sometimes they come, but I just replace them with positivity and things seem much better
Such an important reminder to stay positive! Definitely important to think things through and take your problems seriously, but also important to stop and enjoy the positives in life too!

Second – attitude really IS everything, and this is such an inspiring most and good reminder to us all. We can CHOOSE to be in a negative mood today, or we can choose to be happy and positive. It’s all about how you approach it. I can so relate to this on so many levels. It is so easy for me to get in a funk and think the worst of everything, and create scenario’s in my head that don’t even exist….just ask my boyfriend lol, he says I plan our non-existant break up in my head far too often and it is completely false! so stupid. I think being positive is always a work in progress and sounds like you are doing a good job… KEEP IT UP

I remember when I suffered from such negative thoughts and I always thought why is this happening to me, but it really is about how we control these thoughts and that we have the choice to change them.
Haha, I think especially with us girls we can build things up and let emotions take over, but we just have to take a step back ,reevaluate, and realize we may be exaggerating the situation.
