Happy Tuesday!
This week has been a doozy for me, just struggling with thoughts and doing my best to meditate each morning with them and become more positive with everything happening.
Lately, my mornings have been starting out with my new favourite green juice. It’s the perfect energizer for the morning, until I sit down for my actual breakfast.
This one had spinach, cucumber, leftover romaine, 1/2 an apple, lemon juice, stevia, and apple cider vinegar.
Paige has been doing these Two-fer Tuesday posts the past few weeks, and I thought I’d tag along:)
2 things I ‘m eating…
-Lots of breakfasts for dinner. Ezekiel bread with a little coconut oil, almond butter, and an egg. Truly delicious combination.
-This Once Again creamy almond butter. Seriously, best I’ve ever tried. And this almond butter may just be involved with a delicious recipe I’ll have for you later on;)
2 realizations this week…
-Artisana cacao butter is magical. And is also meant to be melted in almond milk.
-Increasing your calories is a lot harder than it should be, my mind has been amuck with emotions and thoughts, and it has been a rough few days.
2 random things about myself…

-I prefer reading the good ol’ fashion books, compared to those on my kindle. After reading Gone Girl, I wanted to check out more of Gillian Flynn’s work. I haven’t started this yet, but am hoping it lives up to Gone Girl!
-Sometimes without notice, I randomly talk in a British accent and then people will ask me where my accent is from…talk about awkward.

I definitely know how mentally taxing it can be to increase your calories, but be strong and hang in there, because the health and freedom you’ll gain are worth the fight. Eventually the discomfort will pass, you just have to see it through.
I went on a SATC watching marathon not too long ago, and I miss that show as well…. that and Seinfeld were some of my favourites.
It is definitely a tough spot. I just know I will feel SO much better if I just commit to this recovery process and finally get over this darn ED. Its taken too much from me and I’ve had enough!
It was such a good show. The second SATC movie didn’t do it justice ha ha. The reruns will have to do:)

1. Crap. I saw that almond butter at the store and REALLY wanted to try it but it was $16!!! Wtf. I may need to try it now though since you said it’s the best? Thanks a lot.
2. Why have I never thought about putting artisana cacao butter in almond milk… making that later..

Cacao Bliss in almond milk? No way. I need this in my life now. I wonder if mixing coconut butter with cocoa powder would have the same effect…I might try that tonight.
Nothing cures a dumpy day better than SATC re-runs. I own all six seasons, and whenever I need a little pick-me-up, I pop in a DVD. Why don’t they make television shows like this anymore?
Girl, you’ve got this health thing. You CAN do it. Hang in there and keep trying! <3 When I was battling those "should I or shouldn't I?" thoughts, I found that the best way to overcome them was to stop thinking and just start doing. I knew what I had to do, but my thoughts were my worst enemy. Sometimes forcing yourself into an uncomfortable place is the only way to become comfortable.

I’m with you on old fashioned books – totally prefer them to Kindle or iPad versions. Whole heartedly. It’s just the whole appeal – it’s cozier and everything.. I’m not keen on electronic versions just yet. Plus I like knowing how far I’ve gone and how much I have left of the book. Hence… a real book

I’m adjusting to life without cable right now, it’s a little rough but I feel like I get more use out of my day. Although I’m currently watching The Wire on DVD – it’s a pretty fabulous show!

I’ve been loving the X-factor too! I love Bones too! Increasing cals has been too easy for me lately… I have been stress eating, and now I’m nauseated! ugh!

Sharp Objects is really good! Gillian Flynn can get pretty twisted, and its addicting! Also, how do you always come up with such delicious drinks??
And I LOLed about the british accent thing. My 2 best friends and I do the same thing! When we do it in public it becomes a game to see how many people think its real.

Ooh, coconut oil , AB & eggs on toast, I’m gonna try that tonight. It sounds divine. Sometimes I look at my life before- when I didn’t eat things like eggs & coconut oil- & wonder how on EARTH I got by:/.
You are my twinnie. Iv been watching all the ole SATC’s recently , iv got them all too:). It’s weird watching it now that I’m a bit older, my perception of the characters has changed – how much of a needy, whiny , possesive girlfriend was Carrie! Sheesh.
AND with the difficulty in increasing calories. It is hard to believe the act of eating, a simple basic human need, can cause such guilt. I constantly try to justify my need to eat, which is sooo unnecesarry. Living is enough of a reason to eat.
Ya know, there is only 1 almond butter I can get here! No fair * pout *. The fact that Once Again AB is ‘the best you have ever tried’ , makes me want to try it, BAD. I’m getting pumped for your upcoming recipe:).

I’m loving grapes lately. I have so many favorite shows like Mad Men, Curb Your Enthusiasm, How I met your mother, Real Housewives… and so many more. It’s safe to say I’m a TV addict even though I feel like I never watch TV. I just have a full dvr box always.
Oh my gosh, I love Curb Your Enthusiasm, and of course Real Housewives as well! I mostly dvr everything as well. Its always full of those shows;) ha ha.
Foods I’m loving lately? Gosh as of lately it seems like everything! Today though I’d say greens because I made sure to eat them at every meal!
