Instead of doing the weekly Confessions post, I’ve switched it up to Coffee Talk.
I like that better because I’m all about the coffee and I can still post about random fun things happening.
1. Toast with almond butter is my new favorite snack as of late. Not only is it super simple, it’s tasty too. Win.
2. However, something about toast makes me seriously crave apples. Maybe because I need a little sweetness with the meal?
I will never know why but whenever I have toast, an apple will always follow.
3. Obsessed with this dress that Nina Dobrev wore to a Superbowl party.
I LOVE the top part of this dress and the color. It’s so pretty!
4. This weekend I must make this!
How good does this beauty look. Yum. Plus it has two of my favorite things. Avocado and coconut milk!
5. Sex and the City! I have missed this show greatly. These DVD’s have been in my drawer unwatched forever and I finally broke them out to re-watch. I forgot how much of a classic Sex and the City is.
They need to bring back a great show like this. I’m sorry but shows like Gossip Girl and the new version of 90210 don’t do it for me.
6. This image is fun.
I always forget the benefits of different teas so this is a keeper.
7. After doing so good with my sleep lately, I accidentally woke up at 3 thinking it was 5 all in a rush. Until about 15 minutes later I realized it was actually 3:15…after all that rushing around it kind of makes it impossible to fall back asleep.
8. Looks like I’ll need lots of this today:)
9. I’ve decided to re-read my favorite old books. I kept on searching for new reads, then would end up not reading anything since I take forever to choose new books. So, I ended up just deciding to re-read ones I know I love. Who has recommendations?
This book is so good. Plus it’s pretty long so it will keep me occupied for a while!
10. This quote was in my acupuncture room and I just love it. So of course I had to share.
That reminds me, I should update you all on my acupuncture progress. Let’s just say I love it.
Happy Friday!
Reading any good books right now?
Share something random with me!
Any fun news this week?
Have a beautiful and joy filled weekend!

I am OBSESSED by SATC! I have all the all the seasons plus both movies and I watch ‘em over an dover again
and that dress is SO pretty. Happy Weekend love!!
Ah me too! It’s just such a good show!
You too love!
That dress is adorable!! Something random: Every Friday we have staff breakfasts at school. But since I workout in the morning I have to eat something right after. (Today I made protein fudge) So basically most Fridays I eat two breakfasts haha
Haha, I love that. Two Breakfasts are better than one:)
I love that dress too! And I loved the SATC movies so I really want to go back to watch the shows. I’ve never seen them but I’d probably really like them!
Oh my gosh! If you love the movies, I bet you’ll love the shows even better! They are the best!!
I adored that book! I thought it was a little unusual for Stephen King, but his best books seem to be where he steps outside of the horror genre a little bit (The Green Mile). Seriously, so good.
And I’m thinking about books that I want to read too! Right now I’m reading Drop Dead Healthy by A.J. Jacobs, but I have a good list going.
Totally agree, it was definitely an odd book for Stephen King to write, but I so appreciated that he wrote outside his usual genre because this book was fantastic! I wanted to read that book, but haven’t started it yet! Looks like I’ll have to.
Almond butter on toast is delicious! I love how warm and melted the AB gets! I also love to sprinkle a little cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice on top. It is such a delicious combination, and it is beginning to rival my favorite PB on toast!
LOVE that dress!! So, so gorgeous
.
Yum! Oh, cinnamon sprinkled on top alwaysss makes it better! I love my cinnamon:)
Avocado and coconut.. it doesn’t get much better than that! I love sex and the city.. who doesn’t? BUT I have to admit, I was also obsessed with Gossip Girl!
I guess I didn’t give it too much of a chance to be honest…hah, I watched only season 3 and then the last one, so I guess it’s hard to like it when you start watching in the middle. Oops.
Load up on the coffee today! Always makes me feel better too! I miss sex and the city. I say let’s bring it back! Love the sound of that avocado coconut milk soup. I’m definitely going to have to try that out too!
Ah I know, I totally miss that show. Sadness. At least I have the DVD’s;)
I can’t wait to try it!
oh man her dress is gorgeous, I have not seen that picture.
I want to find it asap!
I’m just starting to re-read a fantastic book that you and many others here would probably love! Its called “The Secrets of Six Figure Women” by Barbara Stanny. This book has very much inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and work towards being successful. I will be describing it and giving some details on my blog in about a week when I finish it up : )
Oooh, I’m going to have to check out that book! It sounds really good. Especially because I’d like to get out there and be more successful as well:) Can’t wait to read more details on your blog!
Don’t even get me started on SATC. I’ve watched the entire series through at least 10 or 12 times. It’s kind of ridic. It really is a classic though!
It really is! I can watch them over and over and never get sick of them!
I love Justin’s Maple Almond Butter on toast. I like the way the nut butter melts onto it! I love that dress, too. I like the front and the flowing aspect at the bottom, it’s just a cute cut! Something random: It’s National Girl Scout Cookie Day
We can’t get Justin’s almond butter here! It really is sad, I still have yet to try it!
Haha, that is totally cool! Such weird food holidays out there;)
Hope you’re feeling better love!
Mmm toast with AB is definitely a winner. Have you ever tried adding honey to that? Swoooon. OH! Or have you tried toast with melted coconut butter and cinnamon? Seriously a ridiculously good combo. And I’m the same way with going back to read old favorite books and watch old favorite TV shows. Right now I’m making my way through the first season of Game of Thrones again, but i AM reading a new to me book – The Wise Man’s Fear. After falling in love with The Name of the Wind, it was only natural to go on to book 2 of the series.
Happy Friday, hun!
i’m with amanda. coconut butter and cinnamon on toast is like crack. Good for you crack! hehe. Happy Friday!
Okay, I’m trying this out today!! I’ve totally got a craving for well, almond butter + honey AND coconut butter and cinnamon. I refuse to pick, so I’ll have both:)
Definitely going to check out that book! It sounds fantastic!
Have you ever read She’s Come Undone? I’ve read that more times than I can count!
No, I haven’t! Adding it to my list!
Almond butter is always so delicious!! i loveee Justins Maple Almond + Chocolate Almond – they are heaven!
That cat tea photo made me laugh too!
Im reading Pure White & Deadly at the moment about the problems that sugar poses – a really interesting read!
Everyone’s talking about this almond butter, and I haven’t tried it!
Oh, that sounds very interesting! I always love those types of books too!
I am constantly re-reading my favorite books also. I am just so picky, it is hard for me to find news ones that I enjoy!
~Ang
I LOVE satc! Have you read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series? They will suck you in like no other!
No! I haven’t read those yet! I’ve got a great list going on now! Yay. Thanks for the suggestion:)
I really like that quote. Happiness for me is something that I usually trample all over as soon as I have the chance to feel it. I need to remember to let happiness happen!
I’m glad you’re loving the quote!
We Need To Talk About Kevin and oh my god it is such a good book. I cannot stop reading it. Something random…. I witnessed my neighbour drive down to the trail to walk his dogs that was 2 blocks away from our houses. It kind of made me giggle.
Yes! I read that book, it’s so fantastic!
Omg hahaha, that is completely awesome. Hilarious. I love when people drive the most ridiculous distances;)
I absolutely love this happiness quote! And you already know my book recommendation!
I would also recommend the book, ‘The Noticer,’ by Andy Andrews. It is my all time favorite!
Yes, I do:) I’ll have to add that book too!!
Any time you can drink coffee and talk about random things is a good time.
That soup looks amazing, and I just so happen to have a ripe avocado waiting to be used! I also love re watching episodes of Sex and the City, it is nostalgia at its finest.
I kind of can’t wait to try it!
Coffee is always a good time:)
Oh, yes such nostalgia. Just love it!
Halfway through this post, seeing that photo of a crisp, red apple, I had to go grab one as well!
I just finished Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks – it was definitely very good, but not my favorite by him. Your food photos always look amazing!!!
Is it weird that i have never seen Sex in the City??? Crazy right?? I love that tea thing. I would love to have that hanging in my kitchen will all the tea that I drink! lol
