Where oh where has the week gone! It doesn’t feel like Thursday! I could’ve sworn it was just Monday, and now it’s already Thursday. I’m guessing it must have been the holiday on Monday that made things pass by rather quickly. I can’t find any other explanation.
Oh yah, I guess I should wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day! Don’t laugh, but I still get presents from my parents. Ha. I’m assuming they will continue to do this until I get a boyfriend…which doesn’t seem likely that it will happen anytime soon;) but I’m a-okay with this fact. No stressing for me this Valentine’s Day.
Three Things I’m Eating:
1. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, I had to add a little red coloring and chocolate to my Breakfast. It was just a must.
Cocoa buckwheat bowl with strawberries on top. Yum.
2. Quinoa for Lunch.
I went through a little rough patch with quinoa, losing my love for it, but now it’s back in the picture for now.
Pepped up with flavorings like cumin, nutritional yeast, and veggie broth make it extra delicious.
3. Apples dipped in almond butter and sprinkled in cinnamon.
Again, I wasn’t really feeling the love for apples during the Fall time when they’re usually best, but right now I can’t get enough.
Food Phases are so random.
Three Things I’m Loving:
1. Yogi Tea.
Of course tea is a huge part of my day. I drink it consistently throughout the afternoon, when I can no longer tolerate coffee.
Actually, I don’t even think I like the flavor that much, I just really like the message that comes with it. Yep.
I remember buying Kindersurprises just for the toy, I didn’t like the chocolate, so I’d just give it away and keep the toy for myself. I’m cool like that.
2. Fresh flowers outside
Okay, fine they aren’t fresh, but they remind me that Spring is on its way!
3. Sun Warrior Natural Warrior Blend
I especially love that it’s a mix of 3 different plant based proteins. It contains cranberry protein, hemp protein, and pea protein. I love this even more then the brown rice blend.
Not only does if mix very well into smoothies, but it tastes great in baked goods as well.
Three Workouts I Did:
1. Spin class on Tuesday!
Love as always. Another plus, the New Year crowd seems to have dispersed, so now we don’t have to rush at 5 in the morning to get to class.
2. Pop Pilates Backless Dress Workout (using 5 pound weights instead of no weights) I died.
3. Tone It Up – Tone Your Arms For Summer Workout
Three Things I’m Wanting:
2. Tiffany Box Blue Nails!
Holy moly, I want these on my nails asap.
3. To Sparkle-ify everything.
