As you all know, I’m a fan of living in the moment. There’s a point in life where you just come to realize that life is better spent being yourself. Embracing your quirks, and behaviors that maybe other people don’t quite understand.
Even though I’ve been through a lot in the past, through that whole process I’ve become much more confident and comfortable in my own skin. With that, I need to be honest with a few things that I’m currently doing and feeling.
Roasted kabocha squash, with cinnamon, and coconut butter. I’m loving this as a snack or part of my meals. Kabocha will always be my favorite squash of all time. Luckily, it’s in grocery stores all season around here.
Hot Cinnamon Spice tea. My favorite, and one of my best blog friends‘ favorites. Amanda got me seriously hooked on this stuff. Before I get the coffee rolling, I make myself a cup of this tea. Just because I obviously need more caffeine in my life;)
Dark chocolate with sea salt.
Yes, she finally has a real name! Presenting Lola. She is just the best. Not even caring that my new wake up time is 4 AM since she likes to wake up at that time. Her lovely face makes up for that.
May Cause Miracles…again.
My mind will already be in a more open state, from the 21 days, and I believe it will be easier to complete with those basic skills set in. To get into preparation mode, I’ve begun re-reading this book so that I know what will be in store for the 40 days to come.
It’s okay to share more.
Not only do I need to admit what’s occurring, it feels good to share with others too. A while back I mentioned I was going through a rough patch.
Time to get honest, I had a relapse with my panic disorder. If you all don’t know by now, I do in fact suffer from not only anxiety, but panic disorder. It’s been rough; not only emotionally but physically as well. Instead of allowing my panic to control my life, I have faith that I can get past this. So I’m in control, not my panic.
Two things – that have to do with pilates.
One, for my pilates workout today. I’ll be doing a version of this workout, with my own additions and twists to the moves she suggests. You can do this workout at home too! I just add weights for more of a burn.
And two, for my pilates teacher training course to start. Just a few more weeks now.
