I’m not on the Bondi Band wagon, but get a lot of questions about them. Sorry friends, I have never tried one and can’t speak to it. But, I do have a ton of hair on my back and through trial and error have figured out what works for me.

This is my hair after running that race:

It took me 3 hours, 2 brushes, a lot of tears and conditioner to get that rat’s nest down So, now I make sure to braid it each time.

sometimes I put it in a pony tail with a braid…

Sometimes it “down braids”. but if I don’t braid it there will be hell to pay later.

I use the grip style rubber bands so they don’t slip off…

Instead of a head band/bondi band/bic band I use clips to keep my bangs and fly-aways out of my face.

Top it with a visor and get out the door!

I did a tempo run of sorts today – 1 mile warm up, 2 miles at under 8:20 (with a bit of rest between), 1 mile cool down. It was easier than I thought!

Mile 1: 9:38

Mile 2: 8:16

Mile 3: 8:09

Mile 4: 9:18

As soon as I got home I intended to stretch my legs, but decided to stretch my belly full of Camiseta ACF Fiorentina food instead

Pumpkin pancakes again! topped with AB and syrup. So so good.

My Marathon Hunger has come early in this training season. I was hungry all Saturday and have been hungrier than usual these last two days too! I’m trying watch it because I don’t want to gain the Freshman Marathon 15!!!
